This weekend will be busy. And we look forward to it! It could be under the motto “Now more than ever!” So a few words about the spiritual offerings of this weekend:
On Saturday evening at 6 p.m. there is a bilingual “Remembering Christmas” service. Remembering halfway through what it means to us that God became human is incredibly important. We are happy when we sing “Power up the door” together and let us remember what an incredible gift we were given. Even if on Saturday with Open House, Christmas in July and the whole week with the renovation work in the Manse / there is so much going on in the office, I hope you will come to the service on Sunday. The service will be in English and have a meditative character.
We have prepared it as a team and anyone who wants can be blessed and anointed after the sermon.
This ancient Judeo-Christian tradition is beautiful. There can be strength, especially now that our church is facing so many demanding challenges. Be close to God and feel God. This is once again possible here. And we all need blessings and strengthening at the moment. Personally, I would like to thank everyone who is now organizing, planning and doing:
Jens, who also just lost his home and is still helping.
Jörg, who (not only) holds the reins so wonderfully and keeps an overview.
Bettina, who (not only) manages the communication with the insurance companies.
Ann-Kristin and Konny, who once again work a lot under adverse circumstances and take care of the background work in a friendly and loving manner.
The entire church board and the volunteers who are doing so much right now, providing us with food, cleaning up, and even helping out with big events. Thank you for your kind words, questions and prayers. You are – we are! – an incredible church! God commanded Pastor Kim

On July 29th and 30th our church will be open again. We thank the Aki for organizing and planning this campaign. At the City of Melbourne’s Open House, the city’s monuments are open to visitors for two days. More information here:
