Parish worker Yasmina Buhre cordially invites you to the family Thanksgiving service this week. Please bring your harvest offerings such as fruit, vegetables, jams and/or other non-perishable foods to the church before the service so that we can place them around the altar. After the service, our annual auction of harvest offerings will take place again in the church hall. This year, all proceeds will benefit our listed buildings.
We regretfully announce that Pastor Kim Kiessling has submitted her request to terminate her service in our church. Her last day of work before she takes her remaining vacation days is expected to be Easter Monday, April 1, 2024.
At the moment, the church committee, the EKD and Kim Kiessling are working on what a termination agreement can look like and also how the resulting vacancy can be filled or bridged as quickly as possible.

The playgroup will not take place at the church next Thursday 7/3 (!!!), but we will meet from 10am at the Box Hill Miniature Steam Railway in Mont Albert North https://bhmsrs.org.au/! This trip was kindly made possible for us by Jens Neelsen and other volunteers from the club. A warm invitation to all current and former playgroup families to join us.

Accountant needed!
We are looking for somebody with a professional accounting background who can help us finalise the church’s Annual Financial Statements and do an annual audit of the church accounts, as the church is no longer legally required to have this done by a professional accounting firm. Please get in touch with our treasurer Bettina Schellenberg-Harley via email: b.schellenberg@kirche.org.au or SMS 0407/581026 if you think you can help or know of somebody who is in a position to assist us. Many thanks!

Working Bee
On Saturday, March 9th, we will meet in the churchyard from 9:30 a.m. onwards to get to work with energy and enthusiasm (until around 3:30 p.m.). Even if you can only work for 1 or 2 hours, that’s no reason to stay away.
We would really look forward to your support,
Your Ralph Schultz and Helmut Golinski
